I loved the compositions and Phil's singing, with his orchestra this is a good DVD let down by the poor video quality it looks like a video transfer, I was dissapointed to say the least I think Phil Coulters music is beautiful and uplifting sorry the DVD is a let down it would have been A1 such a shame.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to see Phil Coulter play on this video. The expressiveness of his face in the songs, be it deep sorrow or pure joy, is as magical as his playing. Many of the songs have special meaning to Phil, as he explains throughout.
Having quite a few of Phil Coulter's recordings, there are a few songs on the video I would rather replace with others, but I suppose that is true of most recordings. I would have liked for the medleys to play the songs longer, even if it meant covering fewer songs. I was disappointed that "The Ballad of William Bloat" was not on it even though the cover says it is supposed to be.
As with all great concerts, I wish the video was longer, though approximately 70 minutes is a fair amount.
Songs include:
Steal Away, Play On
The Derry Air
The Old Man
Mancini Magic: The Pink Panther, The Thorn Birds, Baby Elephant Walk, Moon River, Peter Gunn
The Ballad Of William Bloat (listed, but not on video), I'll Tell Me Ma
Cal, Local Hero
Hoedown
The Bonny Boy, Mid Term Break
Scorn Not His Simplicity
Ballads And Blarney: The Boston Burglar, Muirsheen Durkan, Whiskey On A Sunday, Home Boys Home, The Merry Plough Boy, The Black Velvet Band, The Holy Ground
Mo Ghile Mear (featuring Peadar O'Riada and The Coolea Choir)
A Thiarna Dean Trocaire (featuring Peadar O'Riada and The Coolea Choir)
Mise Eire
The Town I Loved So Well
