A great book for couples

This book could easily have been titled, "More Time for Golf", "More Time for Sailing," or anything else you'd like to have more time to enjoy. Already in its second printing, it is geared toward couples without children who need to reduce the stress and conflict that occurs when two people share living quarters.

In Chapter One, the author offers a Timely Tip: "Less stuff=more time. Learn the importance of getting rid of stuff. You can always get more stuff, but you can never get more time."

Demonstrating how more time can be created for fun and romance by reducing clutter and chaos, it is an easy-to-read-and-implement guide for such topics as "The Five Steps for Eliminating Closet Clutter" and "Putting Paper in Its Place."

Of particular interest was "The Business of Running a Household." Comparing a household to running a small business, the author discusses the importance of having a home office, even if it means using the kitchen table for a desk and a box for a filing cabinet, for such tasks as processing mail, paying bills, and maintaining files and tax records.

Every couple should read this book, whether they are in the early-love stage or celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. It has become my gift of choice for this season's showers and weddings
