Underrecognized, invaluable book on gay dating

I thumbed through this book on Castro St. and quickly scooped it up. It could arguably have been subtitled, "A Therapist's Fireside Introduction to Dating for Smart, Insecure Gay Men".
As the book asserts, gay men often grow up feeling stigmatized and ostracized, leading to lasting self-esteem damage into our adulthoods. As a result of this emotional scarring, gay men can feel that they're doomed to never experience a meaningful relationship.
If you're a gay man, this book can help you tear away at layers of reasons you've built up for why you'll never enter a fulfilling relationship -- or perhaps provide a few ideas of what you can do to become emotionally available for one.
I think this book is especially well-oriented for people who are comfortable with introspection, or of a rational or logical disposition. (As an engineer, it suited me just fine!)
