I thought that growing a polar bear cub was easy before, but it wasn't. I learned a lot about Andrew Nicholas Polar Bear. I'd like to recommend this book to people who are fond of almost extinct animals.

When I was a little girl I loved to read animal stories. This was a great story about a tiny polar bear, rescued from the father bear, and taken care of by a zoo keeper. It told all about how polar bear cubs are cared for in a zoo setting, through the life of Andy. I have read this book to students many times, they always love looking at the photos of Andy as a baby, and hearing his story.
