Product Description
Is it just a myth that a teenager can keep high standards and still be well-liked? Molly Chambers certainly hopes not. She just tries to do what is right and be herself, even if that brings ridicule from guys like Travis and Mitch. She can even handle the verbal jabs of Jennavive Taylor, the most popular girl in school.

But soon Molly faces a whole new challenge. When Molly’s best friend is swept away by the school's top athlete—and top party guy—Molly unexpectedly finds herself attracted to his best friend. Reality tells her this relationship could never work out, but her heart tells her otherwise.

This enchanting, true-to-life novel takes you along on Molly's journey, where humbling Homecoming dates and heartaches are mingled with valued friendships and staying true to the truth . . . while unknowingly helping others along the way.

GREAT HUMOR

It was refreshing to read a book written by someone who understands the complexities of trying to do the right thing as a mormon in a mormon culture. It's hard to stand up for yourself when the ones against you are the same ones in your same Sunday School classes. The humor was fabulous. Each chapter began with an anecdote that made my sides hurt from laughing. Well done!!!!

A great YA LDS fiction read

I don't read a lot of LDS YA books, but I really enjoyed this one. Set in a very Mormon town surrounded by all levels of Mormons, I found a lot to relate to in comparison to my own teenage years. I felt the author did a great job of showing that even in a community of 'saints' we all have to find our own testimony and that life isn't perfect. I enjoy the books in the rest of the series as well and love being able to see Molly confront challenges of every time in her life.

Great book for Mormon teens

This book is a great book no matter what anyone below may say about the cover. The title is perfect and absolutely hilarious and appropriate if you know anything about Mormon culture. There are very few books of LDS fiction that really show what our teens are like and the struggles they face. I don't often enjoy teen fiction, but I liked this book, and my two teenage daughters devoured it! How wonderful to know there are writers who uphold our beliefs instead of trying to compare them negatively to the world's standards. I love the author's humor and talent. Way to go!

Let's start with the cliche for a title...

Let it suffice to say the one star rating is for the attractive cover, not for the silliness that lies beneath it. Molly Mormon? is just that--too good to be true. How hard is it to be a Polly Priesthood if one lives where they know what fry sauce is? The only LDS fiction I have ever read that even compares to mainstream Christian fiction is "The Broken Covenant" by Carroll Hofeling Morris.

THis book is so great. If you are or aren't a Mormon, you'll enjoy this book. Its about finding out who you really are...as a teenager. It talks about the stress of being a teen and the trauma, tradgedy and success you can and do have. I recommend this book! :)
